A novel MYBL1- NFIB gene fusion involving t (8;9) translocation have been reported in 35% of salivary gland-derived t (6;9)-negative ACCs.[20,21] Tumors with the t (8;9) translocation are associated with high MYBL1 expression, which may confer novel oncogenicity in ACC. The gene discussed is MYBL1; the disease is adrenal cortex carcinoma.
