MTOR and familial pancreatic carcinoma: In particular, high levels of phospho-mTOR-S2448, indicative of mTOR kinase activity, is remarkably correlated with better overall survival (hazard ratio = 0.29, p = 0.0014) and progress-free survival (hazard ratio = 0.414, p = 0.00049) in pancreatic cancer, as well as multiple other cancer types, including lung, liver, kidney, prostate, cervical cancers, and melanoma (Fig. 3f, Supplementary Fig. 4b).
