Interestingly, the physical functioning scores, as measured with the standardized, validated, SF-36 instrument (30) appeared significantly correlated with higher Ig levels, particularly IgE levels (rs=-0.8057, p<0.01), meaning that these post-COVID-19 condition patients with high anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgE antibodies had related impaired ability to perform basic activities of daily living (Figure 5).
