Receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 (RIPK1), receptor-interacting protein kinase 3 (RIPK3), and mixed lineage kinase domain like pseudokinase (MLKL), which constitutes the core components of necroptosis, are downregulated in various types of cancers including colorectal cancer, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, cervical squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma (6, 7, 9–13). This evidence concerns the gene RIPK1 and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
