We showed that immune cells differed between healthy and sepsis patients by analyzing scRNA-seq data from 12 patients, where B cells, CD14+ monocytes, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, dendritic cells, and NK cells were higher in the normal group than in the sepsis group, indicating the presence of immunosuppression in the latter (Figures 8A, B). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and Sepsis.
