KIAA1429 has important implications in malignant tumors such as breast cancer (Qian et al., 2019; Liu et al., 2019), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (Lan et al., 2019; Wang et al., 2020a; Liu et al., 2021), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (Xu et al., 2021; Tang et al., 2021), colorectal cancer (CRC) (Zhou et al., 2022; Ma et al., 2022), osteosarcoma (OS) (Han et al., 2020b) , gastric cancer (GC) (Yang et al., 2021; Miao et al., 2020), and prostate cancer (PCA) (Barros-Silva & Lobo, 2020) .
