OXT and anxiety disorder: There was no difference between the two groups however (Fisher’s z = −0.651, p = 0.258) and so to increase statistical power, we therefore combined treatment groups and observed a robust positive correlation between percentage changes in OXT concentrations and anti-saccade errors (r = 0.411, p < 0.001) (see Figure 3B) but not latencies (r = 0.077, p = 0.542) or post-task reductions in state anxiety (r = −0.214, p = 0.095).
