The mortality risks for ABCBSI include old age, malignancy, chronic renal disease, chronic liver disease, neutropenia, septic shock, immunosuppressant use, total parenteral nutrition, ICU stay, previous antibiotic use, Pitt bacteremia score, APACHE II score, SOFA score, lower albumin levels, bacteremia origin, carbapenem resistance, and inappropriate initial antimicrobial therapy (Du et al., 2019; Russo et al., 2019; Zhou et al., 2019; Son et al., 2020; Gu et al., 2021; Yu et al., 2021). Here, ALB is linked to bacterial infectious disease with sepsis.
