As KCNF1 is overexpressed and located in the nucleus of NSCLC cells, understanding the mechanisms resulting in nuclear localization and identifying the nuclear factors, e.g., transcriptional regulators that are regulated by KCNF1, should provide a valid therapeutic approach to target KCNF1 activity in NSCLC. This evidence concerns the gene KCNF1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
