AKT1 and pancreatic neoplasm: Although there was no significant difference in AKT, ERK, or AMPK phosphorylation in pancreatic tumors between KG and the other groups in the survival study (Supplementary Fig. S5), KG treatment significantly reduced AKT, ERK, IGFR, and AMPK phosphorylation in pancreatic tumors of female, but not male, KPC mice, compared with CG-treated mice, at 2 months of treatment (Fig. 4B and C).
