To test this hypothesis, we treated 4T1 cells with a low concentration (0.2 ng/mL) of IFN-γ, known not to induce autophagy in liver cancer cells, as a negative control and a high dose of IFN-γ (200 ng/mL), proven to induce autophagy in liver cancer cells, and examined the expression of the autophagy marker, LC3B.
