In line with the above, laboratory results also showed better stress-tolerance in the PP group, as the CRP level was higher (Fig. 4C), platelet count lower (Fig. 4D), neutrophil % higher (Fig. 4E) and lymphocyte % lower (Fig. 4F) in the S animals compared to the PP group, indicating markedly expressed inflammation, thrombocytopenia, neutrophilia and lymphocytopenia in the sedentary animals.
