Expression of YKL-40 is elevated in a variety of cancers, including breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and GC, and promotes tumor progression by promoting tumor cell proliferation, rapid invasion and migration, and angiogenesis [31].
