IFIH1 and dermatomyositis: According to the literature, anti-Jo-1 is associated with joint involvement, “mechanic’s hands”, and ILD [15]; anti-Mi-2 is associated with cutaneous manifestations, low frequency of pulmonary involvement, low glucocorticoid requirement, and high DM remission rate [14]; and anti-MDA-5 is associated with different forms of skin involvement, especially skin ulcers and others resembling antisynthetase syndrome [6, 7, 18, 19].
