In addition, fusions in ALK (overall, Fisher’s exact test P < 0.0001; lung cancer, P < 0.0001), ROS1 (overall, Fisher’s exact test P < 0.0001; lung cancer, P < 0.0001) and RET (overall, Fisher’s exact test P = 0.006; lung cancer, P < 0.0001) were associated with an earlier disease onset (Fig. 1c and Supplementary Fig. 4A).
