One previous study found overall mortality rates for melanoma decreased sharply by 17.9% with sharp drops among men aged 50 years above since introduction of new therapies for metastatic melanoma in the United States18 The significant improvement in advanced breast cancer survival was consistent with previous studies, demonstrating improved survival with efficient systemic therapies, including the major advances in HER2‐targeted treatment.19, 20, 21.
