NUCB1 and infection: Second, cyto/nuc ratios of mRNAs nicely clustered together, suggesting that the mRNAs of certain clusters accumulate more efficiently in the cytoplasm during the early phase of infection (Figure 3, clusters A, B, and C), while a large set of cellular mRNAs had higher cyto/nuc ratios at 24 h p.i. (Figure 3, clusters F and G), indicating that the latter mRNAs accumulate in the cytoplasm more efficiently during the late phase of infection.
