LPL and hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia: Numerous studies have demonstrated that individuals with high plasma LPL activity tend to have high HDL-C levels [30,31,32], which is consistent with the findings of the present study, in which the rats in the HED/LCE, HED/MCE, and HED/HCE groups had high serum LPL activity and high HDL-C levels.
