Considering the mRNA expression of pro–inflammatory cytokines interleukin (IL)–2 and interferon (IFN)–γ in spleen tissue; it showed significant downregulation in the HF+LR–TR08 group in comparing with both the HF and NC groups (p < 0.05), while anti–inflammatory cytokines IL–4 and IL–10 showed significant upregulation (p < 0.05) (Figure 4). This evidence concerns the gene IL4 and hydrops fetalis.
