We found that the hypoxia-related mRNAs, especially ENO2, in the ceRNA network were positively associated with PD1, PD-L1, or CTLA-4 in HCC, indicating that upregulating these mRNAs could promote the immune escape of cancer cells in hepatocytes, and targeting them could increase the efficacy of immunotherapy of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. The gene discussed is CTLA4; the disease is cancer.
