This study demonstrated two main findings: (1) LPS induced locomotor deficits and anxiety-like behaviour, which was accompanied by a decreased food intake and body weight, elevated phosphorylated tau protein levels, and decreased expressions of BDNF and phosphorylated CREB proteins in the mPFC, and (2) both doses of minocycline significantly improved locomotor deficits and anxiety-like behaviour. The gene discussed is CREB1; the disease is Anxiety.
