To estimate the cutoff points for diagnosing motor neuropathy in MPA, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were generated using the serum levels of TIMP-1 and IL-6, revealing the optimal cutoff points of 266.2 pg/mL (area under the ROC curve (AUC), 0.80; sensitivity, 92.3%; specificity, 72.7%) and 26.6 pg/mL (AUC, 0.72; sensitivity, 65.4%; specificity, 81.8%), respectively (Figure 1B). The gene discussed is TIMP1; the disease is microscopic polyangiitis.
