According to our results, cell proliferation rates increased significantly in bovine CCs 72 h after transfection with the siRNA targeting CLDN6 gene, which was are consistent with previous studies in cervical cancer cells [18], whereas it was contrary with the results in gastric cancer cell lines and human endometrial adenocarcinoma cells [19,20]. This evidence concerns the gene CLDN6 and endometrium adenocarcinoma.
