LUM and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: According to our results, Lumican was overexpressed in both esophageal patients’ tumor tissue and cancer cell lines (including lung cancer cells, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and gastric cancer cells), and promoted cancer cell migration, invasion, and proliferation, which was consistent with previous reports, and offered more evidence of the protumorigenic effect of Lumican in these cancers.
