We further analyzed the level of CBX family members in relation to the tumor stage and observed significantly higher CBX1, CBX2, CBX3, and CBX4 expression in more advanced LIHC tumors (Figure 3A), higher CBX2, CBX3, and CBX5 and lower CBX7 levels in higher stage LUAD tumors (Figure 3B), lower CBX1, CBX5, CBX6, and CBX7 expression in more advanced PAAD tumors (Figure 3C), and higher CBX1, CBX3, CBX5, and CBX6 levels in higher stage UCEC tumors (Figure 3D). The gene discussed is CBX5; the disease is pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
