Studies have shown that overexpression of MST1R in colon, ovarian and breast cell lines increases the migratory and invasive properties of cancer cells [8,9,10] by inducing intraepithelial neoplasia in both human and mouse primary metastatic cell lines [11] thus asserting that MST1R is indeed involved in pancreatic cancer [12]. Here, MST1R is linked to pancreatic neoplasm.
