Overall reduction of NF-kB expression following treatment with anti-inflammatory compounds in a glioblastoma cell line has also been reported, further reinforcing the notion that control of NF-kB expression is a relevant anti-inflammatory mechanism in TNFα-associated neuroinflammation not only in the BBB, but in the SNC as a whole [47,48].
