To test the effect of SE on cell viability, primary skin fibroblasts from PD patients (indicated as Pt1, Pt2 and Pt3) [41,42,43] listed in Table 2 were incubated for 24 and 48 h in the presence of increasing concentrations of SE (3.125, 6.25, 12.5 μg/mL gallic acid equivalents, GAE), and data were compared with normal human dermal fibroblasts (NHDFs) as control.
