Other genes highlighted by this study include CD320, which was reported to be associated with Huntington’s disease in a previous EWAS [44]; USP43, which was shown to have DNAm levels associated with progressive supranuclear palsy [45]; APBA2, which was reported in an EWAS of Parkinson’s disease (PD) [46] (Supplementary Table S2). Here, APBA2 is linked to juvenile Huntington disease.
