Moreover, our results are in line with a previous study in patients with multiple myeloma, which reported a leukapheresis product enriched in early lineage T cells and a higher CD4/CD8 ratio when lymphocytes were collected after response to induction therapy, while T lymphocytes collected from heavily relapsed/refractory patients showed a more “exhausted” phenotype [12].
