TAGLN encodes transgelin, a 23 kDa actin-binding protein that promotes the proliferation and invasiveness of colorectal cancer cells by mediating TNS1 expression to promote pseudopod formation and cell motility, with low patient survival, the knockdown of TNS1 or TAGLN, and a reduced invasiveness of SW620 cells [131,160]. Here, TAGLN is linked to colorectal cancer.
