Compared with participants in the lower METS-IR group, those with higher METS-IR showed higher SBP, DBP, BMI, TG, LDL-C, Hs-CRP, creatinine, fasting glucose, HbA1c, TG/HDL-C and TyG index, lower HDL‐C, and a higher percentage of male, smoking, diabetes, hypertension and CAC. This evidence concerns the gene MAP3K14 and diabetes mellitus.
