This metanalysis did not find an association between the risk of tuberculosis and the use of sulfonylureas (RR 1.14; 95% CI 0.82–1.60) (Figure 3b), meglitinides (RR 1.12; 95% CI 0.80–1.58) (Figure 3c), thiazolidinediones (RR 1.06; 95% IC 0.69, 1.63) (Figure 3d), or alpha-glucosidase inhibitors (RR 0.84; 95% IC 0.54–1.31) (Figure 3e).
