Regarding triple-negative breast cancers, Di Donato et al. [91], by using MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-453 cells line, found that the NGF-induced activation of the TrkA receptor results in the formation of the TrkA/β1-integrin/FAK/Src complex, which leads to cell migration and invasion, and to increased spheroid size. Here, NTRK1 is linked to triple-negative breast carcinoma.
