CD33 and acute myeloid leukemia: In this study, CG-rich cargo was added into the 5′ end of aptamer S30-T1 to synthesize a S30-T1–Dox conjugate which could precisely recognize the CD33 antigen on HL-60 cells and be rapidly internalized into cells and then release the Dox, finally inducing CD33-positive AML cell death (but not CD33-negative cell death), implying that the ApDC has excellent therapeutic potential for leukemia treatment [80].
