We profiled with 850k arrays three replicates of the well-characterized HCT116 human colon cancer wild type (WT) cell line and of its double knock-out (DKO) derivative, in which DNA methylation is strongly reduced because of deletion of the DNMT1 and DNMT3B DNA methyltransferase genes [43]. This evidence concerns the gene DNMT3B and malignant colon neoplasm.
