Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of TRIM8 in 176 cervical cancer tissues and corresponding normal tissues in tissue microarray, which confirmed the higher TRIM8 expression in cervical cancer than that in corresponding normal tissues, as well as the presence of TRIM8 expression in both cytoplasm and nucleus (p<0.05) (Figures 6A, B). This evidence concerns the gene TRIM8 and cervical carcinoma.
