Next, ROC curve analysis was performed, and the results showed that the areas under the ROC curve (AUC) for 1, 3, and 5 years were 0.707, 0.792, and 0.791 in the CCGA dataset, and 0.762, 0.844, and 0.793 in the TGGA dataset, respectively, indicating that MELK might act as a diagnostic biomarker for survival of patients with glioma (Figures 3C,D). Here, MELK is linked to central nervous system cancer.
