The two study groups had no significant differences concerning age, hypertension, clinical ascites, immunosuppressive agents (such as mTOR inhibitors), ALBI scores, liver diseases (i.e., HCV and HCC), MELD-Na score, pretransplant albumin and hematocrit, obesity, blood loss during LT, postoperative infection, abdominal reoperation in 3 months after LT, or suture material for closure (Table 1). Here, ALB is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
