In our study here, overexpressing CLSTN1 further elevated CaMK2 phosphorylation, and downregulated SERCA2 in myocardial cells, as confirmed by western blotting, suggesting that CLSTN1 may be involved in the regulation of calcium signaling and the development of Dox-induced DCM. Here, ATP2A2 is linked to familial dilated cardiomyopathy.
