Established in 1992 from a 50-year-old male patient with malignant non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL), NK-92 cells rely on the presence of recombinant human IL-2 for growth [51] and express several cell surface antigens such as CD56, CD2, CD45, CD28, activating receptors such as NKp30, NKp44, NKp46, NKG2D, and 2B4. Here, CD28 is linked to non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
