In terms of age (p = 0.051), menopausal status (p = 0.798), BMI (p = 0.771), WHR (p = 0.243), SBP (p = 0.701), DBP (p = 0.127), hypertension, or diabetes (all p > 0.05), there was no significant difference between the P and H groups, indicating that the influence of gut microbiota caused by age, nutritional status, hypertension, or diabetes could be excluded (Table 1) However, the P groups had higher FSH and LH values, whereas the E2 levels were lower (all p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene BRD2 and hypertensive disorder.
