FADD-containing DNA amplification of the 11q13 region has been observed in many types of cancer, including breast cancer (BC), bladder cancer (BCa), laryngeal/pharyngeal cancer, oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), ovarian cancer (OC), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) (Brown et al. 2008; Chien et al. 2016; Eytan et al. 2016; Gibcus et al. 2007; Katoh and Katoh 2005; Petersen et al. 2000; Qin et al. 2016; Zhou et al. 2022a). This evidence concerns the gene FADD and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
