Recently, aberrant expression of Myo1b has been detected in various cancers, including prostate cancer [6], head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) [8–10], cervical cancer [11, 12], esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) [13] and glioma [14]. Here, MYO1B is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
