The aim of the study is early detection of UTI in type1diabetic children in Minia governorate, through screening of their urine samples, measurement of high sensitive C reactive protein (hsCRP) and NGAL urinary levels (as it has a great significance in AKI) in cases with detected asymptomatic bacteriuria for early detection of AKI to prevent serious complications among this group of children and improving their quality of health. This evidence concerns the gene LCN2 and bacterial urinary tract infection.
