CD14 and neoplasm: Buffy coat prediction revealed a high percentage of memory CD4+ T cells, CD14 monocytes, B cells, and NK cells (14 to 15 out of 16 samples; deconvolution p ≤ 0.1) (Fig. 1f), thus revealing that distinct immune profiles could be inferred for the tumor microenvironment and blood cells, even though common biological processes were enriched for these proteomic datasets (Fig. 1d).
