INS and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Patients had median HbA1c of 6.8 (q1–q3: 6.1–7.6), 51 mmol/mol, and 146 patients (79.4%) were taking some type of oral and injectable (non-insulin) antidiabetic agents for the treatment of T2D, while 64 (34.8%) patients were taking insulin.
