Figure 1C presented the location of CNV alterations of Tyrosine metabolism-related genes on chromosomes. We further explored whether the genetic alterations could affect the gene expression patterns. By comparing the expression level between HCC tumors and normal tissues, we found that the TRGs expression levels were positively correlated with the CNV alterations. The TRGs with CNVs gain, like BUD23 and ALDH3B1, were increased in HCC patients, while the TRGs with CNVs loss were decreased in HCC samples (Figure 1D). The gene discussed is BUD23; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
