The traditional view is that CUL5 is a potential tumor suppressor that can inhibit the proliferation, migration and invasion of renal cell carcinoma, endometrial carcinoma, prostate cancer, gastric cancer and lung cancer cells (Zhu et al., 2019; Wang et al., 2020) and maintains genomic stability (Yu et al., 2003). Here, CUL5 is linked to prostate cancer.
