Mechanistically, TRIM11 promotes suppression of ferritinophagy and gemcitabine resistance through the UBE2N-TAX1BP1 pathway, and this finding demonstrates that TRIM11 is a key modulator of TAX1BP1 signaling in ferritinophagy and gemcitabine resistance, which has seen treatment effects in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (Dong et al., 2019).
